Mysterious, fiery Herrstein – tour by torchlight through the historic town centre
Spark-filled, medieval atmosphere, dim lit alleyways and unfamiliar shadows align the rustic house walls. As sunset approaches, the town of Herrstein as it was in centuries past comes to life. Discover the medieval area for yourself by torchlight. When visiting the historic village blacksmith you will discover how red-hot iron and steel was formed using traditional methods.
Services included: Torchlight tour through the historic center of Herrstein, 30-minute blacksmith demonstration. Followed by mulled wine/children's punch on request (surcharge on request).
Dates: Fridays, 6:30 pm.
2026: january 30th, february 20th, march 20th, october 09th, october 23rd, november 13th and december 11th.
Duration: approx. 2 hours, max. 20 participants
Price per person: adults €9.00, children €7.00.
