Creative seminar "gemstone polishing"
Together with the company Louis-Gottlieb & Söhne we offer creative courses:
A) Demonstration course / duration: 2 hours
Course content: General introduction to polishing gemstones / cutting, grinding and polishing / grinding cabochon / initial polishing of a stone’s core / material can be kept. Material will be provided.
B) Introductory course / duration: 4 hours
Course content: General introduction to gemstone polishing / cutting, grouting, grinding and polishing / explanation of degrees of hardness / basic terminology used for grinding forms / initial polishing of a stone’s core / drilling a pendant / material can be taken home. Material will be provided for an additional charge.
C) 2-day course / duration: 2 x 4 hours Friday / Saturday
Course content: General introduction to gemstone polishing / cutting, grouting, grinding and drilling gemstones / explanation of degrees of hardness / basic terminology used for grinding forms / initial polishing of a stone’s core and pendant / material can be taken home. Material will be provided for an additional charge.
Participants: Course A: max. 4 people, course B & C: max. 6 people
