Culinary delights “down the mine” – a very special experience
Do you love the extraordinary? Now then, you will love the culinary delights that await you in a very special location with a unique atmosphere: Descend into the hollows of the historical copper mine. Your underground experience commences with a need-to-know talk about work and life down the mines, during which you will be able to listen to exciting stories told by the mine guide. After this you will take your seat at a rustic lunch table.
ATTENTION: the culinary delights "down the mine" are not available for booking in 2021.
The following culinary delights are available for you to choose from:
Option 1: Miners’ refreshments
Explore the copper mine before enjoying the delicious sausage specialities “down the mine”, all on traditional “Wasserweck” bread rolls baked the Hunsrück way (vegetarian alternative with cheese available). Price per person: €17.00
Option 2: Rustic meal “down the mine”
Following the guided tour through the copper mine, you can devour a hearty bowl of goulash with bread (vegetarian alternative: potato soup). Price per person: €17.50
Option 3: Wine tasting “down the mine”
Top-class Nahe wines, the winegrower will competently guide you through the range of Riesling, Pinot Gris, red and rosé wines. Bread is served with it. Price per person: €18.00

Please note: warm clothing (temperature in the mine is 11° C) and appropriate footwear are essential
