I have been the chairperson of the Enzweiler Beautification Association for several years. The men of our working group meet on Wednesday mornings and go out with mowers, scythes, saws and other equipment to maintain the hiking trails around our district. We often get very positive feedback from hikers and that spurs the men on even more to "keep their area looking great."

I think there are many interesting landscapes in Germany, but whenever my husband and I return from a vacation, we realize what a beautiful area we live in.

Here, from one of my favorite spots, you can see the deeply cut Nahe Valley with Kreschelsfelsen across the way. The Nahe-cycling path leads over the Blue Bridge in the direction of Kammerwoog and Oberstein and next to it run the hiking trails "Rund um die Kama" and the newly established "Nahesteig".
