At the Erbeskopf (816m), the highest mountain of Rhineland-Palatinate, winter sports enthusiasts can enjoy two kilometers of slopes. On three downhill slopes as well as a practice slope, skiers and snowboarders can take their turns here. Even in the evening, the winter sports center at Erbeskopf offers pure fun on the slopes. Thanks to the floodlight system, night skiing is possible every day, and on Fridays the slopes are even open until 10 pm.
Those who want to start their first attempts on the boards at Erbeskopf can attend a ski or snowboard course at the local ski school.
For sledding enthusiasts, there are two tracks as well as the family slope.
For cross-country skiers there are various trails from 6.4 km to 22 km, if the snow conditions are right.
The bistro in the Hunsrückhaus and the umbrella bar at the foot of the Erbeskopf are inviting places to stop for a bite to eat.
