The Mackenrodt meadow orchard is a wonderful place to linger.

The meadow orchard with its old and new fruit trees, located on the southern slope, is lovingly cared for by the community and offers visitors a great and instructive insight into the happenings of a meadow orchard all year round. On many explanatory signs one learns everything about fruit trees and their fruits. The focus is on apple trees, some of which are very rare old varieties. In the nice pavilion you can see an old apple press and other equipment. From there you have a magnificent view into the nature. At the blossoming of the trees you are in a sea of iridescent blossoms.

You can also discover a small beekeeping station, an insect house and piled up natural stones for small animals.
