Why not get on your bike, and challenge yourself to a cycling tour, during which you can savour the wind as it rushes past your nose.
The Nahe cycle path accompanies you from the source at Sehlbach over a distance of 130 km, past the jewellery and gemstone town of Idar-Oberstein and Fischbach and on to the mouth of the Rhine at Bingen. The route takes you past striking knights castles and historic villages, meandering through romantic valleys and dreamy villages, as well as a stunning wine growing landscape.
Away from the Nahe river, the Nahe-Hunsrück-Moselle cycle path leads you over 87 km from Fischbach via Herrstein and Morbach to Neumagen-Drohn on the Moselle. The “Nahe-Hunsrück-Mosel” cycle path forges the link between both rivers, and spans the Hunsrück low mountain range. Experience all the beauty this landscape has to offer along the way!
