For me, EdelSteinLand is one of the most beautiful regions in Germany.

Here, hills combine with rippling waters and are complemented by the unique deposits of gemstones in a dreamlike way.

What could be more natural than to work with these beautiful gemstones? Thus, I have been closely connected with the gemstone industry for over 40 years and have found my place in the German Gemstone Museum as a "guardian of treasures".

As a tour guide, I have also been on the road in Idar-Oberstein for 26 years - when my time permits - to bring our guests closer to our beautiful town, its impressive history and its centuries-old connection to gemstones.

My favorite place in EdelSteinLand is the Nahe River - I love to hike or bike along the river. The pristine nature of the Nahe floodplains is the perfect place for me to relax and unwind from the stressful daily routine at work.
